Migration | Removing the Legacy @Scale by Solidify Extension from ADO
Removing the legacy @Scale by Solidify extension depends on whether your users have migrated their individual settings. This step is not mandatory, but completing it allows migration of the following user-level settings:
-
Favorite ARTs
-
Selected PI
-
Board options
-
Filters applied in different hubs
-
Selected dashboard in Analytics
-
Configuration of flow distribution (e.g., Group by Work Item Type or Work Item Type & Value Area)
How to Migrate User Settings
Each user can migrate their own settings by opening the @Scale by Solidify extension in any project and following the on-screen steps.
This process only needs to be completed once per user, not for each project.
When It’s Safe to Remove the Old Extension
If your users have already completed this migration — or if they are comfortable reconfiguring their settings manually — you can safely remove the @Scale by Solidify extension, provided you are already up and running with the Nooga Scale extension.
