How to ROAM Risks in Nooga Scale
Keeping track of project risks is key to successfully deliver on target. Use the risk board in Nooga Scale to ROAM risk during PI planning and as a board to manage the risks over the course of delivering the next increment of your product.
When you have identify a risk you can quickly add it to the board using the "+ new item" button (1). New risks are added the the first column (2) and then moved to the different board columns as the risks are discussed and triaged. The cards can be customized from the settings dialog if you want to show additional fields.

General settings
By default, risks are loaded from the root area path of the current project, including risks on the project's internal team default areas.
To change where risks are loaded from, select a different area path used to manage risks. You can turn off loading risks from the root area path, team area paths, or both, depending on your use case.
Note: The iteration path used to load risks is determined by the iteration path of the currently selected program increment or planning interval. See risk view controls for reference.

Fields settings
The field settings for the risk board work the same way as other board settings, allowing you to customize card appearance. These settings are stored specifically for the Risk work item type.
The settings dialog lets you configure:
- Core fields – Essential fields typically shown on the card
- Additional fields – Add up to 10 custom fields to display on the board. The Parent field includes a link that opens the work item form
- Show empty fields – Enable this option to display fields even when they have no value

Reset settings
To reconfigure the risk view, click Reset, then confirm by clicking Reset Settings in the confirmation dialog.

You will be prompted to select the work item type used to track risks.

After selecting the work item type, choose the states and the order in which they appear on the risk board. Drag and drop states to reorder them.
Note: At least one state in the Proposed state category is required.

See also the Azure DevOps documentation on how to choose fields to appear on cards.
